What do you think of a goat who struggles with words
This Billy scrambles up certain phrases he’s heard.
He’s well-versed in Shakespeare, but when he recites it
The lines get mixed up, not as the Bard might write it.
Hamlet’s famous speech, not used with discretion
“To pee, or not to pee: that is the question.”
When King Richard says, “A whore! a whore! my kingdom for a horse!”
If the king were to ride that one, it could lead to divorce.
You see, Billy’s mixed up as a result of head-butting,
Which is common with goats in the season of rutting.
Those frequent concussions have jumbled his brain cells,
Like a boxer, those goat jousts have rung all his bells.
Billy’s confused words embarrass his kid and his nanny,
“What’s next,” they ask, “will he start misquoting Peter Panny?”
Although Billy holds Shakespeare in quite high regard,
Our goat butchers the poetry penned by the Bard.
Billy’s twisted lines will bring you to tears:
“Friends, Romans, countrymen, bend me your beers.”
“We are such duff as streams are made on.”
“If music be the lewd of love, let’s Crayon.”
Distraught for her Romeo, Juliet won’t see the morrow,
Proclaiming at her end that “Farting is such sweet sorrow.”
